Open Girls Cricket Hunter Finalists

Congratulations to the Open Girls Cricket team who won a thrilling game against Kotara High School recently.

Sophie C's outstanding batting performance lasted the whole innings in hot conditions against some impressive bowling. She topped scored with 116 Runs.

Clio L was able to protect her wicket in the last overs of the game as we chased down 189 runs and needed 10 runs in the last overs to ensure victory.

The girl's bowling attack was impressive with Annabelle G taking 3 for 15 off 8 overs and Molly D who took 2 for 19 off 8 overs.

The team are wonderful ambassadors for our school, and I would like to thank all the girls for their exemplary behaviour and exceptional sportsmanship.

The team will play Maitland High School in the Hunter Final soon.
