We are an active and willing participant in local AECG meetings and seek AECG representation on selection panels and at cultural events. In addition we conduct regular Junior AECG meetings, providing a strong voice for our ATSI students.
These meetings provide additional leadership opportunities for Aboriginal students. As part of their role, students report at local AECG meetings, further increasing the connections between the school and the community. Some of the programs on offer at the school include, a Didgeridoo Group and a Contemporary Art Group.
The Aboriginal Education team consists of: Mrs Lisa Curran, Mr Travis Caruana, Mr Trevor Doyle, Miss Sophie George and Ms Renee Sommer.
