Future Focused Learning prepares students across all curriculum areas and learning stages with skills and capabilities to thrive in a rapidly changing and interconnected world.
Highlights from 2021 were:
- The refurbishment of the library with updated furnishing including a group collaboration zones as well as whole class collaboration zone.
- The continued improvement and active use of online learning platforms across all faculties. All subjects from Years 7 - 12 were accessible to students via the Google Classroom.
- The extensive use of technologies such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams by teachers to interact with students remotely.
- The refinement and continued use of Flipped Classroom strategies and digital learning after students returned to onsite learning fulltime.
- The delivery of Project-Based Learning to Year 7 which culminated in the production of a student produced website for incoming Year 6 students.
- The continuation of the Future Focused Best Practice Team to collaborate across faculties on innovative, future focused teaching and learning.
- Four staff members from the Future Focused Best Practice Team participated in statewide Critical and Creative Thinking professional learning.
