High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) at WBHS

WBHS is committed to recognising and fostering the intellectual, creative, social-emotional and physical potential of our students. 

As a leading school around High Potential and Gifted Education we aim to:

Support for students who excel in the Intellectual Domain 

  • Differentiated teaching and learning in the classroom 
  • Year 7 and 8 Enrichment, Extension and Engagement (EEE) classes
  • Advanced and graded Mathematics classes in Years 7 and 8.
  • Advanced and graded classes in Years 9 and 10 English, Science, History and Geography

  • Enrolment in university courses such as the High Performing Students Program
