Year 10 Marine Studies Swim Test - Coughlan's 2024 - to test Water Safety Skills during these possible dates/times: Monday 26/02/2024 1:30pm - 3:10pm, Tuesday 05/03/2024 11:15am - 12:40pm, Monday 11/03/2024 1:30pm - 3:10pm, Tuesday 19/03/2024 11:15am - 12:40pm Students will be walking to the venue. Students should wear full school sports uniform and will need to bring their swimmers, a towel and a long sleeve top. The cost of the excursion is $3.00 payable on entry to the Coughlan's Swim Centre

Year 9 Visual Arts/ Visual Design/ Photography excursion to Taronga Zoo

Year 9 Visual Arts/ Visual Design/ Photography students excursion to Taronga Zoo. Students will be recording and documenting flora and fauna to inform assessment tasks for Visual Arts, Photographic and Digital Media and Visual Design Ceramics subjects. Students will be travelling by bus. The bus will leave at 7.30am sharp - please arrive at school by 7.15am. Students should bring a water bottle, and snacks and money for lunch and/or dinner, and hat, sunscreen and insect repellant. Students should wear full school sports uniform.

School photo day will be held on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. Purchases of photos are to be made online as per the instructions below. Students are reminded that full FORMAL uniform is to be worn. Students who do not have ties/formal shirts will need to organise the borrowing of these themselves. The school will not have any for you to borrow. Girls are reminded to wear school tie, sleeves are to be rolled down, no visible necklaces, small earrings only, facial piercings to be removed. Boys are reminded school tie is to be worn, top button of the school shirt must be done up with the knot of the tie covering the button, no undershirts, facial piercings to be removed. School Photo catch-up day will be Thursday 07 March 2023.

Year 11 Ancient History Australian Museum visit

Year 11 Ancient History students will be visiting the Australian Museum to visit the Egypt exhibit. This is relevant to their study of the Tomb of Tutankhamun which students will be undertaking in Term 1. Students will be going on a tour in the morning (10.30am-12pm). They may have time to explore the museum themselves after visiting this exhibit. Students will also have the chance to have lunch in the museum precinct. Students will be travelling via train and then walking to the venue. Students are to be at Cardiff Train Station at 6.45am to catch the 6.58 am train. We will get off the train at Central, transfer to either Museum or St James station, and then walk to the Australian Museum. Students will follow the same process on the way home and will need to be collected at Cardiff Train Station at 4.30pm. NOTE: Students will need to have money to pay for their train fare (approx $15). This could be loaded onto an Opal card, or they could bring a debit card that can be used to tap on/off or to buy a ticket. Students should wear full school uniform and should bring a water bottle. Students will have the opportunity to purchase lunch. If students do not bring their own lunch, they will require additional money to purchase this.

Year 12 Visual Arts excursion to Art Express

Year 12 Visual Arts students excursion to view exemplary artworks (Body of Works) of Year 12 HSC students from 2022. The Art Express exhibitions enable students to value, appreciate and gain inspiration for their own Body of Work/Artmaking. Students will also view Tacita Dean an internationally acclaimed artist as a Case Study. Students will be travelling by bus. Bus leaves at 7am sharp - please arrive at school 6.45am. Students should wear full school uniform including covered shoes. Students should bring snacks and money for lunch and/or dinner, and a water bottle.
