Sophie with silver medals

Sophie spent last week competing at the School Sports Australia National Swimming Championships proudly representing NSW. Silver medallist in the 100m Backstroke and 5th fastest in Australia for the 13yrs Girls 50m Backstroke. It was a week of fast and fun racing. Sophie was selected by the leadership team to swim in the Girls 13-19yrs 300m relay narrowly missing a medal coming in at 4th place at the finish.

Sophie also competed at the 2023 Surf Life Saving Australia Australian and Interstate Pool Rescue Championships earlier this month on the Gold Coast.

Coming away with 3 National silver medals and more experience to keep her rescue ready for the start of the beach patrol season.
