Old Maitland Gaol excursion

On Tuesday, students from Year 10 History Elective and Year 8 Legal Studies Elective went on an excursion to Maitland Gaol.

Students learnt about the history of the facility, conditions that the prisoners lived in,  as well as heard stories about escapes.

In the afternoon, Year 8 took a tour of the old Morpeth Courthouse and Year 10 looked around the historic town.
