Warners Bay HS students played well at the regional competition recently.
It was a challenging start playing Merewether and Newcastle for the first two games, who ended up having a playoff against each other for first place and progression to the state competition.
Our results drastically improved after playing the top teams going on to win many games against Glendale, West Wallsend and Callaghan Jesmond.
With outdoor tables hindering our ability to train recently due to all the rain, the boys steadily improved as the day progressed with some nail biting finishes in the later half of the day.
