Year 10 Students Gear Up for H2GP State Finals!
Over the past few months, a dedicated team of Year 10 students has been immersed in the Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) Program, an exciting initiative that challenges students to design, engineer, build, and race hydrogen-powered cars.
Our team, The Bay Rollers, has been refining their problem-solving and technical skills, tackling real-world energy challenges with creativity and precision. Along the way, they’ve participated in workshops with experts from the University of Newcastle, engaged in test races, and worked tirelessly to perfect their car’s specifications.
Now, they’re preparing for their biggest challenge yet—the NSW State Finals in July! Team members Nick H, Zavier L, Rylan M, Connor S, and Aidan W will race their vehicle, aiming to secure a spot in the International Competition in Germany later this year.
We’re incredibly proud of their efforts and wish them the best of luck as they take on this exciting next step!
