Some students capture the emu with striking realism, it's intricate details meticulously depicted, evoking a sense of awe and wonder at nature's beauty. Yet, amid this realism, other aspects of the drawing embrace a charming scruffiness, as if the artist's hand danced freely, imbuing the emu with a playful spirit.

The watercolour lends a fluidity to its form, echoing the graceful movements of the bird, while the felt tip pen and ink add depth and definition, emphasizing its individual quirks and characteristics.

Well done Year 9 for creating such unique adaptations of the beloved emu.
