Music, Music!

Music poster

Another hugely busy time in Music this term. Showcases, excursions, rehearsals and performances are all highlighted below.

Encore excursion

On Monday 11th March, Year 11 and Year 12 Music students travelled down to the Sydney Opera House to see the annual HSC music showcase '"Encore".

The performances were absolutely amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by our senior students. There was a wide array of repertoire and focus instruments which were performed by the state's best HSC Music students of 2023. Our Years 11/12 students were able to take notes on performance techniques and suitable repertoire for when they take the HSC this year and next.

The students represented our school posiively and some even found friends to chat to from neighbouring schools in the Hunter.
