Years 9/10 Sport
The start of 2022 has allowed WBHS to return to our traditional sport for years 9 and 10 on Tuesday afternoon. Our school is lucky to be surrounded by a variety of community resources offering plenty of options for our students. It is great to see our students accessing and maximising time off the school site to meet the mandatory requirements of sport. Students have selected sport from a wide variety of options including Surfing, Surf School, Ten Pin, Ice Skating, and Archery Attack just to name a few. Please see the few photos we have gathered from this weeks sport to showcase what is on offer and also to see the enjoyment our students are having accessing what they know as normal sport at WBHS.
Regional Sport Selection
The year has already begun with several of our WBHS students nominating to trial for our Regional Knockout teams. Recently Mia C and Sophie C were selected in the Open Girls Cricket team with Imogen J being selected as a showed player. Molly G has also been selected in the NSW state Softball team.
Trials are coming thick and fast. It is important that students are listening to the school notices for upcoming selections and trial dates. These are also communicated through Skoolbag. Mr Farrar has been inundated with forms for Soccer, all codes of Football, Cricket and Basketball. We wish all our intending students wishing to trial for these selections the best of luck and look forward to celebrating your success throughout the term.
