Year 11 Textiles and Design – Product Launch Success!

Our talented Year 11 Textiles and Design students have just completed their first major practical project – designing and constructing a garment inspired by a luxury product like a designer fragrance or handbag.

Each stunning garment is part of a mock product launch, and students have impressed with their creativity and flair! They’ve mastered advanced construction techniques including boning, pleating, gathering, lining and embroidery – and their craftsmanship shows.

Alongside their garments, students produced a beautifully presented portfolio featuring moodboards, design sketches, and a detailed record of their design journey.
