MAP MIMA Final Workshop

MAP MIMA POSTER

“A Night at MAP Mima” was developed to provide students the opportunity to engage in a challenging musical experience that would develop and ignite their passion and potential in Music.

“A Night At Map Mima” was produced in conjunction with an Art Installation. This broad project offers many different opportunities for students to enrich and develop their High Potential in their chosen area of interest. These include, Art, Dance, Video and Sound, Graphic Design, Steam and Music. The innovative Speers Point Park MAP Mima Venue is the perfect place to showcase all of these disciplines.

Our talented Elective Music students collaborated in their final workshop on Friday the 8th of November. The students are working hard  to produce the High Potential and Gifted Education showcase  “A Night At MAP MIMA”.  The Music performers worked alongside the Sound and Stage and Music Production Teams to produce this diverse and challenging showcase of music pieces.

You can watch “A Night At MAP MIMA” on Friday the 22nd of November at the Speers Point Park Multi Arts Pavillion.

The Art Installation is open from 3.30-5.00pm and the music concert “A Night at MAP MIMA” will start at 6.30pm and go for approximately two hours. Please come along and be amazed and astounded by our talented and hard wording CAPA students. Remember to bring a picnic basket and a beach chair.
