The Year 12 Earth and Environmental Science students went to Dorrigo Rainforest centre for a presentation and hike on Monday 29th May.
The purpose of the excursion was to gain an understanding in the formation of the east coast of Australia, how this has driven evolution on the Australian continent and the threats to ecosystems now and in the future.
The students then hiked to the Crystal Shower Falls and walked underneath it to see the basalt formations from the Ebor Hotspot Volcano.
