CAPA HPGE Program MAP Mima Event

This term we have had our second workshop for the CAPA HPGE Program ‘MAP Mima Event’.

On Friday the 21st of June, from periods 3-5, all of the students involved in the program engaged in workshops with their tutorial teachers.

The music performers chose their musical items that they will be performing at the showcase event and started to rehearse in their groups, the coding group had a zoom meeting with Dr Luke Hespanhol who created the Catenary Lights at the MAP Mima site and gained invaluable insight into the software and programming, the dance and film groups worked together to choreograph and film the movements for the installation that will go on display, the sound team continued to compose the music soundscape to accompany the installation, and the media team continued to edit the promotional video and create advertising material.
