Yrs 9/10 Marine Studies Whale Watching Excursion

As part of our study 'Marine Mammals' (Yr9),  and 'Marine Management and Tourism' (Yr10), an excursion to Port Stephens to undertake a whale watching cruise has been organised. This will give students first-hand experience to witness the importance of maintaining our marine environment in protecting these important marine animals.

Students will be travelling by bus leaving WBHS at 8:00am.

Students should bring snacks, food and drink for the day and/or money for same for purchases at Nelson Bay Marina after the cruise.

Students should a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and insect repellant.

Students will be departing on 'Hinchinbrook Explorer' departing from d’Albora Marina Nelson Bay.

As this is an offshore cruise if your student suffers from motion/sea sickness it is advised to seek advice from chemist for sea sick tablets. For the tablets to be effective they must be taken at least one hour prior to cruise departure.
