Year 12 University of Newcastle - Schools Visit Day

Year 12 students are invited to visit the University of Newcastle Callaghan campus for the Schools Visit Day which provides students with an opportunity to get a taste for uni life.

Academics and current students run presentations and campus tours throughout the day to give students information on degrees, see the facilities and engage with current students and staff. Students are encouraged to plan their day online through the following website: www.newcastle.edu.au/schools-visit-day

Students are expected to make their own way to and from the venue. 

Students should wear full school uniform including covered shoes. 

Students should bring snacks, food and drink for the day, however, students will be able to make purchases at the university's canteen.

* Please note: Teachers attending this excursion will not always have direct supervision of all students given the structure of this event.
