YAKKA Immersion Day in Construction

This excursion is for Year 9 and 10 YAKKA students who are interested in the construction industry.

YAKKA by Career Links are hosting an excursion to Kingston Building for an Immersion Day on 18 June at the Kingston Depot, Broadmeadow.

This event offers students a unique opportunity to explore the variety of roles in the construction industry through interactive tours and hands-on experiences, including project planning and building techniques. Guest speakers will share valuable insights into career pathways and the skills that are required in each role. 

Students will be travelling by bus. 

Students should wear full school uniform including covered shoes.

Students should bring snacks, food and drink for the day.
