HSC Music Day at Conservatorium of Music

This day will comprise of HSC Music workshops for Year 11 and 12 Music Students.

Students will participate in performance and aural workshops to help prepare for their Higher School Certificate and Year 11 written and practical examination.

This year the excursion will  focus on maximising HSC Music outcomes through specific strategies within each of the HSC Music Components. 

There will be performances from various schools and valuable presentations by experienced HSC Music Teachers.

Students are to asemble in the canteen area at 8.15am in full senior uniform. The classes will be travelling by bus to the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music to particiate in the HSC Music Day workshops and seminars. Students will be leaving the Newcastle Conservatorium at 2.30pm to arrive back at WBHS at apporximatley 3.10pm.

Students will be provided with a comprehensive Music Resource Booklet. All students are expected to bring writing materials and wear full senior uniform to this event. To comply with venue safety requirements, large school backpacks must not be brought into the foyer or Concert Hall. Students may bring a small bag for personal belongings and writing materials.

Students are to bring a water bottle, recess and lunch. There may be an opportunity to purchase additional food at a canteen.
