All Stars Warners Bay Community Access

Community Access covers a variety of learning opportunities for our All Stars students outside of the school setting.

The activities involve travelling to and from a range of venues within walking distance of school to facilitate Life Skills and Work and Community Skills in authentic contexts.

Students will apply and build upon their understandings in road safety, financial transactions, and social skills, as well a range of other subject specific activities.

Students should wear full school uniform including covered shoes.

Costs will vary depending on the excursions planned and will be communicated to parents and carers before the event, as will any other equipment specific to some activities. Community Access is a privilege organised by the teachers of the Support Unit, and alternative activities will be made for students to complete at school if their behaviour leading up to the trip does not reflect the three core values of WBHS; Ready, Respectful, and Safe. Should student behaviour become unsafe during an excursion, parents/ carers may be called to collect their child from the venue.
