Year 11 Ancient History - Chau Chak Wing Museum excursion

Students from Year 11 Ancient History classes will be visiting Chau Chak Wing Museum in Sydney to deepen their understanding of historical evidence.

Students will be going on a guided tour in the morning (10am-12pm) with a museum staff member.

Students will be travelling via train and then walking to the venue. Students are to be at Cardiff Train Station at 6.40am to catch the 6.58 am train. We will get off the train at Strathfield, transfer to Redfern, and then walk to Sydney University. Students will follow the same process on the way home and will need to be collected at Cardiff Train Station at 4.30pm. 

NOTE: Students will need to have money to pay for their train fare (approx $15). This could be loaded onto an Opal card, or they could bring a debit card that can be used to tap on/off or to buy a ticket.

Students should wear full school uniform.

Students should bring water bottle.

Students will have the opportunity to purchase lunch at facilities at the University of Sydney. If students do not bring their own lunch, they will require additional money to purchase this.
