Year 12 Geography Field Trip

Year 12 Geography students will be travelling to Port Macquarie by bus, leaving WBHS at 7:00am on Thursday 23/11/23 and returning to WBHS at approximately 4:00pm Friday 24/11/23.

Students will be visiting Sea Acres National Park and Rainforest Centre, and Kooloonbung Creek Nature Reserve to participate in fieldwork as part of the 'Ecosystems at Risk' topic. Students will also visit Port Central Shopping Centre, Miners Beach and North Brother Mountain Lookout. Students wil be staying at The Francis Retreat, Bonny Hills.

Students should bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and insect repellant and pack clothing for two days including toiletries and beach towel. Students are to wear (and pack) appropriate clothing for fieldwork, for example, closed in shoes, sun-safe clothing (no singlets etc...)

Students should bring snacks/food or money for lunch on Thursday and Friday, all other meals are provided.
