Yr 11 Ancient History excursion to Chau Chak Wing Museum

Students from Year 11 Ancient History classes will be visiting Chau Chak Wing Museum in Sydney to deepen their understanding of historical evidence. Students will be going on a guided tour in the morning (10am-12pm) with a museum staff member. In the afternoon they will have time to explore the museum themselves.

Students will be travelling via train and then walking to the venue. Students are to be at Cardiff Train Station at 6.40am to catch the 6.58 am train. We will get off the train at Strathfield, transfer to Redfern, and then walk to Sydney University. Students will follow the same process on the way home and will need to be collected at Cardiff Train Station at 4.30pm. Please allow approximately $15 for train fares that can either be loaded onto an Opal Card or they could bring a debit card that can be used to tap on/off or to buy a ticket.

Students should wear full school uniform and bring a water bottle. Students will have the opportunity to purchase lunch at facilities at the University of Sydney, or they can bring their own snacks and food.
