An excursion is being planned for Year 7 Science students to visit Taronga Zoo Science Week Scavenger Hunt on Thursday 15 August 2019. Students will explore current research projects in teams of four, complete challenges within the Zoo.
The purpose of the visit is to engage students in Science and develop their understanding of a broad range of science concepts. This activity is part of National Science Week.
The students will be travelling by bus leaving school at 6.30am and returning by 5pm.
Students will need to bring a packed lunch, water, sunscreen, a pen and a clipboard. In line with school policy, students not in correct uniform will not be permitted to attend and may forfeit some or all of any payments made. Sports uniform is to be worn on the day.
The cost of the excursion is $50.00. The completed permission note and money should be handed in to the front office by Friday 9 August 2019. The Zoo has a limited number of registrations available to schools, therefore there are only 100 positions available for this excursion.
Please direct enquiries to Mrs Curran.
