Canteen Experience

Selected students have the opportunity to develop their customer service skills through helping with service in the school canteen.

Students will work as members of a team and serve the student population of the school community at Warners Bay High School by volunteering between 1-2 times per week for the first half of lunch only in the school canteen.

Students have been selected due to maturity and honesty as they will handle money and distribute food to their peers.

Students will NOT be involved in the preparation of food, merely food service.

Students will receive an offer of some food from the canteen in the way of thanks for their service. Students will still receive at least a 20 minute break for lunch on the days they volunteer to ensure they can still rest, socialise and eat their food.

Students will discuss with the canteen staff and choose what days work best to volunteer in the canteen.

Participating in this program will benefit the school community.

This program will run from Monday 03/03/2025 11:10am - Friday 19/12/2025 11:30am.
