Warners Bay High School students will participate in the Under 15's Boys Water Polo tournament being played at Lambton Pool on Thursday 07/11/24. Students are expected to make their own way to and from the venue. Students should wear full school sports uniform and bring water polo appropriate swimwear. Students are required to be at Lambton Pool by 8:30am and either show their fitness passport or pay entry at the gate. STudents should bring snacks food and drink for the day.

Year 9 and 10 Marine Studies students will be visiting the Shark & Ray Centre to support the Fish Biology and Marine Tourism units of work. Students will be travelling by bus leaving WBHS at 8:00am and returning at 3:10pm. Students should wear full school uniform and bring snacks and money for lunch and recess.

Music Ensemble students and students performing at the MAP Mima showcase will attend as audience members for an interschool Rock Band competition held at Hunter School of the Performing Arts. Students will watch a showcase of exemplary performances from student Rock Bands to gain insight, insipration and be educated about a range of musical ensmelbes including performance skills. sound, stage, costumes, musical arrangments, instrumentation and lighting. Students are encouraged to utilse these new insights in future assessment tasks and showcases. Students will hear presentations from Music Industry professionals including recording artists and musicians to educate and inform about opportunities in the Music Industry and Tertiary Music Education opportunities and pathways. Students will meet in the Canteen area at 8.00am. A bus will take students to Hunter School of the Performing Arts. The students will catch the bus in the afternoon from the Hunter School of the Performing Arts. They will arrive back at WBHS at approximately 3.30pm. Students should wear full school uniform including covered shoes. The HSPA canteen is available to purchase food and drink or bring your own lunch and water.

Bandwidth is an interschool Rock Band competition at Hunter School of the Performing Arts. Performers are to be at HSPA by 8.00am for a safety induction and sound check. The show will end by 3.30pm. Students are to make their own way to and from the venue. Students will need to bring musical instruments, pedals, leads and any equipment that you need for your musical performance. Students should dress in clothes that represent the genre of music that they are performing. The HSPA canteen is available to purchase food and drink or bring your own snacks and food.
