High Potential and Gifted and Talented Visual Arts Students

On the 22nd of November and 6th of December, Year 6 students from Biddebah and Valentine Public Schools had the exciting opportunity to attend two immersive Visual Arts days.

These sessions offered a dynamic range of artmaking activities, including creating organic brushes, exploring mark-making with inks and paints, experimenting with digital photography and Photoshop manipulation. This process allowed students to form designs for a large mural for the outdoor space at Warners Bay High.

Students had fun painting the panels inspired by local artist Brett Piva. The students were able to explore their creativity, experiment with various artistic techniques, and collaborate with their peers.

These days were designed to inspire and challenge the students, allowing them to deepen their understanding of visual arts while fostering their passion for creativity.
