Year 12 University of Newcastle visit

Year 12 students are invited to visit the University of Newcastle for a campus tour on Tuesday 16/08/2022.

Students will have the opportunity to tour the university facilities and to engage with students and staff.

Students will first be attending NU space at the University of Newcastle City Campus from 9:00am-11:00am for a tour and an activity in the Marketing and Finance lab before travelling to Callaghan campus.

Here students will be having lunch and touring the Engineering precinct and participating in a NU Bots activity, Arts and Education and Health precinct.

Students will be departing from school by bus at 8:20 am and returning to school at 3:00pm. Students will meet in the canteen area at 8:00am and line up in roll call groups to board the buses at 8:15am.

Students need to wear full school uniform.

Students may bring their own recess and lunch or purchase food from the university facilities.

Under new DOE guidelines students must wear a mask at all times.

Please note only 108 seats are available and therefore limited to the first 108 paid students.
