Year 11 Earth and Environmental Science students will engage in examining local geological features and soils at Blackbutt Reserve and along the Newcastle coastline. Students will be visiting Nobbys Headland, Newcastle Beach Promenade, Merewether Rock Platform, Marketown Shopping Centre and Blackbutt Reserve.
Students will be travelling by bus leaving WBHS at 9am and returning at approximately 3pm.
Students are to wear appropriate clothing to conduct field work and sturdy footwear.
Students should bring pens and pencils to complete a booklet during the day and water bottle, hat, sunscreen and insect repellant.
Students should also bring snacks, food and drinks and money for food the during day.
